Recover Tactical Set to Add Rails to Early Gen Glocks
Those with older, rail-less Glocks may soon have another aftermarket rail adapter to consider. This morning, Recover Tactical revealed a new polymer rail adapter called the RC12 (pictured above) that mounts clamshell-style around the handgun’s trigger guard. Recover isn’t the first manufacturer to release an adapter like this, but theirs will probably come in at a very reasonable price. My only real concern right now is that by using the trigger guard as the mounting point, Recover’s product will likely place flashlights rather far forward on the gun and it is unlikely that many existing holsters will work with RC12-equipped Glocks. However as a bolt-on solution for a nightstand pistol, the RC12 looks like a winner.
According to the company, retail units are expected to go into production very soon. No pricing is available at this time.
