Epic New Sharps Bros P365 X-Macro Steel Frame

Sharps Bros has seemingly done the impossible: They have improved the P365 X-Macro pistol! For the uninitiated, the SIG P365 X-Macro is the higher-capacity version of SIG’s wildly successful new carry pistol.

The X-Macro kicks up the capacity of the standard P365 to 17+1 rounds, and adds an integral compensator. Basically, turning a concealed carry pistol into a slim-line duty gun. But one thing that old-school shooters and fans of Wonder Nines have been clamoring for is a steel or aluminum frame P365.

Sharps Bros delivered on that dream with their original metal frame pistol and, just prior to SHOT Show 2024, introduced the latest edition – the Sharps X-Macro frame.

Despite being made of aluminum, the new Sharps Bros frame also accommodates wood-panel grips. Many models from Sharps ship with beautiful rosewood grips not only contrast beautifully with the anodized aluminum but also give a more positive purchase on the gun.

Sharps Bros also unveiled a P320 lower, which apparently is a viable idea since SIG actually ended up doing the same thing.

Sharps Bros Rifles and Pistols

Sharps didn’t limit itself to just handgun frames. It also started importing a series of bolt-action rifle chassis for common rifles.

Rifles like Ruger’s American rifles, which, when chambered in common inexpensive cartridges like 300blk or 350 Legend, would make excellent mid-range hunting rifles.

One of the best parts of these new designs is just how affordable they are. The P365 X-macro frame retails for around $300, while the new rifle chassis will retail for around $450.
