Griffin Armament Adds M2 Modular Sights

As a reviewer, I’ll always keep my articles unbiased and fair to each company, but I’ll also admit that there are some manufacturers that I really, really like and whose products tend to excite me. Griffin Armament is one of those companies and they’ve just dropped a new set of iron sights that might just find their way to at least one of my rifles.

Griffin Armament Micro Modular Sights (M2 Sights)
The full M2 set, called the Deployment Kit, retails for $184.95.

Griffin’s new Micro Modular Sights (M2 Sights) are unique in that they are both offset, 45-degree irons and centered, 12-o’clock sights all in one package. Using the included (if you purchase the full Deployment Kit) bases, the M2 Sights can be easily adapted to offset or inline applications virtually on the fly. They also ride nice and low on a rifle.

The sights are constructed of 17-4 stainless steel, so they likely can take one hell of a beating and as a set, they weigh just 2.5 ounces (the same as a single A2 flash hider). Lastly, if you have a preferred A2-style, aftermarket front sight post, the M2 front sight will accept all standard A2 posts. That’s an important detail to me, as my astigmatism requires me to use a finer front post to achieve an acceptable sight picture.

The M2 will be sold as individual sights and in front-and-rear sets with the full package carrying an MSRP of $184.95.
