Wraithworks Announces Warscorp 9

Warscorp 9

Warscorp – it’s the answer to shooters who love the CZ Scorpion EVO but wonder what an American version would look like.

The Warscorp 9 takes America’s favorite modern sporting rifle, and marries it to the Scorpion Evo’s magazines.

Why?

Because they are among the most reliable, affordable and yet appropriate-looking pistol caliber magazines on the market. Sure, Glock mags are more plentiful, but they’re about as aesthetically pleasing in a carbine as Muddy Girl camo on anything.

Warscorp 9 Handguard
The Warscorp 9 features an MLOK free-floated hadguard.

But more than just an aluminum Scorpion, the Warscorp pairs the excellent ergonomics of the AR-15 with the affordability of 9mm AR-15 carbines and inexpensive magazines.

It also includes everything a shooter needs to rock and roll right out the gate. From its Manticore Arms 9mm NightBrake to the Magpul folding polymer BUIS.

Warscorp 9 receiver
The Warscorp 9's receiver features an ambi bolt release, paddle and push-button magazine release!

But for shooters who want something else, the Warscorp 9 is very modular. The pistol grip is AR-15 pattern, and the monolithic rail accepts any Picatinny accessory. So if a shooter wants to mount a thermal optic and giant suppressor to it they can just that.

Warscorp grip
The pistol grip on the gun is a standard AR-15 pattern. This allows shooters to replace it with anything they like.

While no solid release date has been set yet, sources suggest it should be available in the next few months – and here’s the kicker – at an MSRP of around $1,000. Not bad for a brand new design. For more information, stay tuned to International Sportsman. Because, sadly, there is no official website yet.

That said, the experience I personally have with the gun so far is limited to simply holding and manipulating it. But, from doing so, I’ve grown to respect its construction and design. The Warscorp feels very well built. Hopefully we’ll get one in for review in the new few weeks.
