New Primary Arms New SLx Prism Scope & Microdot
Primary Arms Optics has opened pre-orders for the brand-new SLx MD-25 Red Dot and 3rd Generation 3x and 5x Prism Scopes. Within SLx’s affordable price point, these optics bring in many innovative technological improvements to deliver greater performance at a compelling value. Both dealers and consumers can reserve these optics now from Primary Arms, and release dates are upcoming through April and May.
SLx MD-25 Microdot
The new SLx MD-25 Microdot sight is a new design from Primary Arms that blends the form of a microdot with the enhanced visibility of a 25mm objective window. The larger window design means that users can see more of the target and its surroundings, eliminating the housing obstruction of similar red dots. The MD-25 uses all industry-standard microdot mounts, and the new emitter design allows for an intense reticle with Daylight Bright illumination that can be used in the brightest sunlight. The MD-25 is also designed with 2 NV-compatible illumination settings, ensuring a clear sight picture while operating under night vision devices.
The SLx 25mm red dot includes the low base, a standard riser, and two different height spacers, as well as appropriate mounting hardware. With just the low base, a central height of 0.96” can be achieved. Add the standard riser for 1.41”. With the riser and thin spacer, your central height will be 1.54”. Using the thick spacer will place the optic at 1.64” height.

3rd Generation SLx 3x and 5x Prism Scopes
The 3rd Generation SLx 3x and 5x Prism Scopes bring several improvements to the 2nd generation design. The biggest upgrade comes with the mounting hardware, as the new 3rd generation optics have a redesigned factory mount that greatly increases the mount’s torque rating. These low profile, lightweight mounts help these optics maintain zero against heavy recoil and shock. 3rd Generation SLx prisms also have new reticle configurations, which use a center chevron for an infinitely precise point of aim. The SLx 3x Prism will be available with the ACSS CQB-M2 5.56 and ACSS CQB 300blk/78.62×39 reticles.
The SLx 5x Prism comes with the ACSS 5.56/5.45/.308 and an all-new ACSS Aurora reticle. The ACSS Aurora is a meter-based ACSS reticle designed for metric users worldwide. The Aurora BDC matches 5.56, 5.45, 6.5 Grendel, and .308 Winchester, and includes moving target holds, vertical and horizontal ranging brackets, 5/10mph wind holds, and a bright center chevron.
