“Two is one and one is none.” This phrase first used in the special operations community has moved into the civilian world. Why?
What do you do if you dropped your MSR and broke the glass on your optic? What do you do if the batteries on your red-dot sight go down? Murphy’s Law says these things will happen at the worst possible moment. Meprolight offers a solution to those scenarios with its adjustable FRBS—Front, Rear Backup Sights. The Meprolight FRBS allows you to continue shooting accurately even when your regular gear has gone defective.
The tritium-enhanced secondary sights are designed to lay flat against the Picatinny rail to maintain a low profile. They are durable stay locked out of the way until needed.
The FBRS are constructed of fiberglass-reinforced high-grade polymer and metal with a rearward operating spring that allows shooters to quickly flip them forward into place. Windage and elevation adjustments are simple with no special tools required.
The FRBS is the only backup sight on the market that incorporates tritium in the sights to improve the sight picture in any light, day or night. The night-time illumination is bright enough to see the sights without overpowering the sight picture.
The FBRS comes with a two-dot or four-dot rear sight and is available in matte black or tan. It comes with a 12-year warranty on the tritium illumination.
Whether you are shooting self-defense, competitive, hunting, or military/LE, the tritium enhanced FRBS allows you to stay in the fight when your primary optics go down.
