ZEISS Introduces New Generation of V8 Riflescopes

ZEISS just released a new V8 family of riflescopes with four high-performance models. They feature a 30/34mm main tube, exceptional optical performance, an extra-large eye box, and a daylight-visible illuminated dot reticle.

“Our ZEISS V8 riflescopes deliver optics for the highest demands, packaged in an elegant design. That makes the four models’ ideal companions for any hunting situation” –  Björn Pados, Product Manager for Hunting at ZEISS

ZEISS V8 Riflescope Performance

The V8 riflescopes provide high optical quality for detailed and precise images. Light transmission to the eye is 92%. The V8s have SCHOTT FL high-transmission lenses for absolute natural color reproduction and brilliant details – even under harsh conditions.

Additionally, the ZEISS T* premium light transmission coatings guarantee brilliant images and enables you to see finer and cleaner details under challenging lighting conditions. The LotuTec coating ensures a clearer view in inclement weather conditions.

“Quickly acquiring and accurately identifying targets plays a critical role in a successful hunt,” Pados said.

Roomy Eye Box

Thanks to the ZEISS V8’s extra-large eye box, the riflescope offers more room to position the eye and acquire the target quickly. In addition to the optical performance, a precise reticle is also crucial.

“The ultra-fine illuminated dot provides the decisive advantage with extremely low target subtension,“ said Pados.

The V8 riflescopes are available now and come in four models: the V8 1.1-8×24 for faster target acquisition, the versatile V8 1.8-14×50, the V8 2.8-20×56 for high performance in low light, and the V8 4.8-35×60 for maximum magnification.
