For quick transitions between night-vision and daylight performance, the Gen II features immediate recall to a shooter’s last daylight setting.
This Gen II Sight Has A Larger Window
To make target acquisition even faster, Vortex increased the size of the viewing window. You’ll find it has zero image distortion. This sight incorporates the incredibly fast EBR-CQB reticle that also allows for precise shooting at distance.
It makes use of FHQ technology virtually eliminates stray light emissions for stealth movement with no forward signature.
Also included is the integrated quick-disconnect mount for easy on, easy off convenience. This new Gen II model is lighter too at just 11 ounces.
To top it off, battery replacement is fast and easy with a battery cover that requires no tools to remove. The unit is powered by one CR123A battery.
Gen II Features Wide Adjustment Range
The bright red reticle has 15 brightness settings. That reticle features a 1MOA center dot for precise aiming, a CQB triangle at the bottom for shots inside of 10 yards and a 65 MOA outer circle for fast target acquisition and ranging. Open sections of that circle minimize target obstruction.
