Vortex Strike Eagle scopes are now better than ever. These second focal plane scopes are available in 1-6×24 and 1-8×24 redesigned models. Coupled with the illuminated AR-BDC3 reticle, these scopes have you covered from close quarters to 650 yards.
These new Vortex Strike Eagle scopes have 30mm tubes with an updated body with Armortek finish. The scopes feature an improved optical system with better color tone, brightness and contrast. They provide enough magnification to accurately reach out at extended ranges.
At the true 1X setting, this scope let’s you get on target quickly when it’s up close and personal. A thread-in throw lever and magnification markings on the shooter’s side of the magnification ring make magnification changes quick and easy, even under stress.
The Vortex Strike Eagle scopes feature the AR-BDC3 reticle that takes the guesswork out of hitting your target. The reticle is glass-etched, crisp and precise. The illumination provides for precision aiming in low light. But should your battery power go down, you still have the ability to aim.
These Strike Eagle scopes are optimized for 5.56 and .223 platforms. Looking through these scopes, you have a ranging feature at the top to range a silhouette-sized target out to 600 yards. The reticle BDC (bullet-drop compensator) reticle is graduated with sub-tensions, so you’re good to go for ranges from 20 yards out to 650 yards.
The reticle is marked for wind adjustments as well in 5 mph increments. After zeroing these scopes, the adjustment turrets can be indexed if desired.
The 1-6×24 model is 10.5 inches long and weighs 18.5 ounces. It provides a field of view of 116.5 to 19.2 feet at 100 yards depending on the magnification used.
