New TenPoint Crossbows Provide Unequaled Speed For Their Size

Getting 2021 to a fast start are three new TenPoint crossbows. The company has launched its Havoc RS440 and Siege RS410 crossbows. These crossbows are the fastest compact crossbows on the market – measuring an ultra-compact 26.5-inches long and shooting 440 FPS and 410 FPS, respectively, with the included 400-grain EVO-X CenterPunch16 carbon arrows.

Not only are these crossbows the fastest compact crossbows on the market, they also are super comfortable to shoot. In addition, they feature safe de-cocking with the company’s ACUslide. TenPoint claims they also boast the longest string life and least amount of noise of any ultra-compact crossbows on the market. The third crossbow is the Havoc RS440 XERO, which is the new Havoc RS440 fitted from the factory with the first built-in range finding crossbow scope.

The Fastest Of The TenPoint Crossbows

TenPoint Crossbow Technologies is promoting their new Havoc RS440 as the industry’s fastest crossbow-per-inch. It delivers 440 FPS with same-hole accuracy from a platform measuring only 26.5 inches long and 7.5 inches wide.

“The Havoc is the most comfortable compact crossbow on the market. Period,” said TenPoint CEO Rick Bednar. “When we launched a compact bow project, we wanted to create a bow that felt good to shooters of all sizes, while implementing our reverse-draw technology that allows us to deliver unmatched speed, power, and accuracy. Shoulder it and shoot it – you’ll understand why it redefines the compact crossbow in size, speed, comfort, and noise level.”

The Havoc’s reduction in length to just 26.5 inches overall is accomplished with the development of TenPoint’s new 16-inch  Micro-Trac barrel and new ultra-light, two-piece Tec-Tactical stock.

The fluted aluminum barrel also reduces the flight deck surface by an incredible 50 percent. That helps to increase accuracy and provides for string life in excess of 1,000-shots.

The new tactical-style buttstock features a hollow pocket that houses the ACUslide cocking and de-cocking system. In addition, the stock’s butt plate adjusts up to one inch to provide shooters the ideal fit. It combines with the new Evo-X Marksman Elite Scope to yield perfect eye-level alignment.

The Havoc RS440 is extremely fast for its compact size.

TenPoint Havoc RS440 Includes 2-8X Scope

That scope is included in the bow package. It features fully multi-coated 2-8X optics, capable of precision down-range accuracy out to 100-yards. A variable speed design compatible with crossbows shooting up to 500 FPS, the Marksman Elite scope features external Target Turrets for easy adjustment to windage and elevation (one click represents ½” MOA at 100-yards) for unmatched long-range accuracy.

The Havoc features a patented reverse-draw bow assembly that draws the string through the riser, creating a 13.5-inch power stroke. The increased power stroke generates more speed with less draw weight – creating a smoother, quieter shot. The elongated power stroke also keeps the arrow nock engaged with the string before release. This is a critical component in performance, as the longer the nock remains engaged with the string, the more accurate the crossbow will shoot. In addition, this center-mounted riser provides superior balance, eliminating the “nose-heavy” feel of traditional crossbows and making it easier to hold steady, increasing the shooters accuracy.

The RX7-Cam system rotates an incredible 360-degrees to produce speeds of 440 feet-per-second with a 400-grain arrow. The crossbow’s revolutionary Vector-Quad cable technology utilizes four cables instead of the traditional two which eliminates cam lean and generates straight-nock travel leading to same-hole down-range accuracy.

ACUslide For Silent Cocking, Easy De-Cocking

The ACUslide, the talk of the 2020 crossbow market, features the company’s groundbreaking Auto-Brake Gear System, which allows for silent cocking and safe and controlled de-cocking of the crossbow.  The Auto-Brake Gear System eliminates the potential of losing control which can lead to injury or costly bow damage during the cocking or de-cocking process. While cocking and de-cocking with the ACUslide, the user can remove their hand from the handle at any point, with no other action required – and the handle will stop in place. The 6-inch XTEND Adjustable Crank Handle reduces cocking effort to 5 pounds and stores securely into the buttstock.

The Havoc RS440 features the company’s S1 trigger. This 2-stage, zero-creep design features an advanced roller-sear system that delivers a consistent crisp, 3.5-pound pull. The trigger is equipped with a DFI™ (Dry-Fire-Inhibitor) and is fitted with a nylon-filament arrow retention

brush that improves arrow grip and alignment to reduce noise and vibration. An integrated string stop system is also included to further reduce noise and vibration.

The crossbow weighs just 7.5-pounds (w/o accessories), measures only 26.5-inches (w/o stirrup) in length, and shoots a supercharged 440 feet-per-second with the included 400-grain arrow Evo-X CenterPunch 16 carbon crossbow arrow. Decorated in Veil Alpine camo or Graphite Gray, the Havoc RS440 ships completely assembled and includes a Ready-To-Hunt package.

The Havoc RS440 Xero features this Garmin rangefinding scope.

Havoc RS440 Xero Has Rangefinding Scope

TenPoint takes its new crossbow further with the Havoc RS440 XERO, which comes equipped with the new Garmin Xero X1i Rangefinding Scope to provide exact aiming at any distance for unmatched long-range accuracy.

“Our new partnership with Garmin mates the worlds most advanced crossbow with the most advanced crossbow sight on the market,” said Rick Bednar, TenPoint CEO. “You’ve never seen a crossbow package like this before – and like our other ACUslide crossbows it offers silent cocking and safe de-cocking.”

The new Garmin Xero X1i crossbow scope with built-in laser rangefinder is the first of its kind.

It is an auto-ranging digital scope with 3.5X magnification that automatically measures distance to a target. A single button press lets you range game up to 250 yards away and reflective targets up to 500 yards away.

Precise illuminated aim points automatically adjust for both distance and brightness conditions to allow you to see your target, unobstructed by reticle patterns. The days of “gap-shooting” with multiple aim points are gone. You need merely to range the target by way of the built-in touchpad on the grip and use the single aiming solution provided by the Xero X1i.

The Laser Locate waypoint projection feature works with compatible Garmin devices (sold separately) to show you exactly where the target was located when the shot or range was taken, so you can better track game or find bolts.

In addition, the scope allows you to create custom bolt profiles with unique aim point stacks for each setup, while its Target Lock and Steady Shot features assist with ranging and aiming performance to help improve accuracy.

With the Havoc RS440 Xero, the rangefinder calculates the distance and then provides you with a single aiming point.

Siege RS410 An Affordable Alternative

If you want speed at a more affordable price, you might choose the TenPoint Siege RS410 crossbow. It delivers 410 FPS with same-hole accuracy from a platform measuring only 26.5 inches long and 7.5 inches wide. It too features the company’s ACUslide cocking and de-cocking system. The included RangeMaster Pro Scope to yield perfect eye-level alignment.

“At the $1,699.99 price point, you won’t find a more impressive ultra-compact crossbow than our new Siege RS410,” said Rick Bednar, TenPoint CEO. “It’s center mounted riser and adjustable butt-plate, along with the performance of its reverse-draw bow assembly, separate this model from other small crossbows in terms of size, speed, balance, accuracy, and overall comfort.”

TenPoint Crossbow Technologies is 100% American owned, operated, and all of its crossbow models are manufactured in Mogadore, OH. For more information on TenPoint Crossbows, go to www.tenpointcrossbows.com.
