NEW for 2021: Barnett’s HyperTac Pro 430 Crossbow

Barnett’s HyperTac Pro 430 is a blend of performance-inspired design and technology. With a new, extremely narrow riser, the distance between axle-to-axle is just over nine inches when cocked. As a result, the crossbow provides excellent maneuverability in tight-quartered hunting applications. Its parallel limb configuration puts less weight at the front of the crossbow, making a more stable shooting platform with reduced recoil and vibration. With its compact and energy-efficient design, the HyperTac Pro blisters small-diameter HyperFlite arrows down-range with speeds – up to 430 feet per second and 155 ft. lbs. of energy.

Like all crossbows in the Hyper series, the HyperTac Pro is paired with Barnett’s exclusive 22-inch, .204 diameter HyperFlite arrows. The arrow’s 21% increased FOC (front of center) and 61% greater ballistic coefficient reduces wind drift which makes for a deadly combination of blistering speed, downrange accuracy, and deeper penetration. With a straightness tolerance of +/- .001 inch, HyperFlite arrows provide more than 25% deeper penetration than the competition.

The new capture nock increases string-to-nock engagement by 30% resulting in better accuracy while reducing string wear and eliminating dry fires. Arrows are held secure with Barnett’s Soft Lok Floating Bristle Arrow Retainer System and CNC machined aluminum flight track provides consistency shot after shot.

The HyperTac Pro’s fully integrated crank cocking device with a quick attach/detach handle guarantees a faster, safer, and worry-free cocking experience. The newly patented string hook system is integrated into the track so that the hooks are always available and there is no need to store them between shots. With just 7 pounds of cocking force, it also allows hunters to safely cock the crossbow in a stand or ground blind with minimal effort.

The HyperTac Pro utilizes a metal-injected molded trigger and TriggerTech Frictionless Release Technology (a $200 value). The TriggerTech trigger features a reliable, crisp, 3-pound pull for consistent shots and improved accuracy. This is another example of how Barnett leads the industry in innovation and value. An Anti-Dry Fire (ADF) system and nock sensor are added to ensure the crossbow is loaded correctly.

Hunter-friendly ergonomics are enhanced by multiple features like the flip-down Verti-Grip multi-position, pistol-grip, and finger safety reminders above the pass-through foregrip. A micro-adjustable buttstock and a padded, micro-adjustable cheek-rest ensure a perfect length-of-pull and proper scope-to-eye alignment. Pre-installed string suppressors provide reduced recoil, vibration, and noise during the shot.

Barnett packs even more value to complete the HyperTac Pro 430 package. The crossbow comes outfitted with a premium 1.5-5x32mm red/green illuminated, speed-compensating scope. The scope offers precise target acquisition in a full range of ambient light conditions from twilight to high noon. The scope is adjustable so that the reticles on the scope are calibrated to exact yardages based on arrow speed.
