New Dead Air Nomad Ti 30 Caliber Silencer
After much anticipation, Dead Air announced the new Nomad-Ti an ultra-lightweight 30 caliber silencer. The new Nomad-Ti weighs just 9.6 ounces with a body that is fully-welded Grade 5 Titanium.
Of particular note is that this silencer is not full-auto rated and Dead Air recommends semi-auto fire only with a 3-minute cooldown between mags. This shouldn’t come as a surprise given that titanium is prone to heat erosion.
Like the original Nomad-30 the new Nomad-Ti is compatible with the Dead Air KeyMo mount. Additionally, the titanium Nomad is also rated up to .300 Norma Mag as the original Nomad-30. Diameter and length remain unchanged from the Nomad-30 coming in at 6.5 inches and 1.735 inches, respectively.
The new Dead Air Nomad-Ti shaves almost 5 ounces off the original Nomad making this the lightest rifle silencer in the Dead Air lineup. The Nomad-Ti is actually lighter than every silencer in the line with the exception of the Mask 22 silencer which weighs only three ounces less.
If you are looking for a little extra recoil reduction, you will be happy to know that the Nomad-Ti is also compatible with the Nomad E-Brake.
The Nomad-Ti fills a nice spot in the Dead Air line as a lightweight precision silencer for hunters and those who want a lighter option with the same impressive sound performance.
