If you’ve spent much time hunting out of elevated shooting houses, you know that there always seems to be something missing. They’re not wide enough, tall enough, and the windows are never just right – a window that works well for gun hunters isn’t configured for bowhunting.
Millennium Outdoors has just released its Q200 Buck Hut Shooting House, that aims to solve these common issues faced by gun and bow hunters alike. Because it is a soft shell shooting house, it comes in at a price point that could make hard-side elevated blinds obsolete.
“We’ve built this shooting house the same way we build all of our tree stands and accessories,” said Ed Welsh, President/CEO of Millennium Outdoors. “It’s designed by hunters, for hunters who are looking for a top-quality shooting house with features and details that make a big difference between success and failure.”
The Q200 Buck Hut itself is constructed from a heavy-duty, waterproof soft shell material that will last for many seasons. The roomy interior measures 7 feet, 4 inches wide x 4 feet deep x 7 feet tall – big enough for both gun and bow hunters to shoot either sitting or standing.
With an overall footprint of 11 feet, 9 inches by 8 feet, the interior easily allows for the use of Millennium’s 360 Revolution seats (not included).
The lightweight tower has two adjustable legs for leveling on uneven ground, and all metal frame parts are made from heavy duty powder coated steel construction. It has a 500 lb. capacity, and weighs 323 pounds, making it easy to relocate. An anchoring kit is included with all towers.
Another key feature is the window design. The multi-configuration windows can be adjusted perfectly for rifle, crossbow or vertical bow hunting. Better yet, each window has an adjustable height shooting rest so you’ll never have to worry about trying to just “make do” when the time comes.
