Galco Has Some Good Belt Holsters For Cool Weather Carry

It’s time to break out those belt holsters. Autumn has arrived. The seasonal shift to fall means concealed carriers can wear more layers and perhaps switch from IWBs and pocket holsters to belt holsters and shoulder systems. Galco has an entire collection of holsters devoted to cool weather carry. Let’s take a look at some of the company’s belt holsters.

The Corvus: A IWB And Belt Holster In One

The Kydex Corvus is one of my favorite Galco holsters. This Kydex rig can be converted from an IWB holster to one of the best belt holsters merely by switching the position of the belt loops. The Corvus has an open top for fast draw. It’s adjustable for ride height and cant too. This is a good all-around holster.

Like Your Belt Holsters In Leather?

If you prefer leather holsters, the Galco Fletch is a professional-grade rig made of premium steerhide. The Fletch features a forward cant for enhanced concealment. The secure thumb-break retention strap releases quickly and easily. The forward-molded design is contoured on the body side to the natural curve of the hip for significantly more comfortable carry and a more concealable profile.

TacSlide Tops Among Hybrid Belt Holsters

The hybrid Galco TacSlide combines steerhide and Kydex for a belt holster that’s fast, concealable and very economical. Its open top and neutral cant make the draw fast and simple. The wide spacing of the belt slots pulls the handgun in tight to the body. The belt-slide design accommodates multiple barrel lengths on the same basic frame size while simultaneously minimizing overall bulk.

Don’t forget your spare ammo. It’s also easier to carry a reload or two in the cooler months. Galco makes single and double mag carriers as well as 2x2x2 cartridge carriers and speedloader carriers for revolver fans. For more information, go to GalcoUSA.com.
