Enhancements and a New Addition to the Frabill Conservation Net Family

At ICAST 2020, Frabill announced a number of enhancements to their well establish Conservation family of nets including a new member called the Conservation PLD Ultralight.

A fishing or landing net is a crucial piece of equipment to land the precious fish we target. Hours of planning, time on the water and analyzing fish lead to success, and the crescendo of the event is landing your prize. Frabill has developed the Frabill Conservation Net family to enable anglers to practice proper catch-and-release methods or to put a fish on the dinner table.

Conservation Net Family

All Conservation nets have been completely updated with an improved PowR Lok™ yoke that is stronger and more dependable than ever. The patented yoke allows you to open the net from the stowed position every time without ever worrying about it being locked in place and the handle secure. All very handy when you have to act fast to land that trophy.

Options vary in the Conservation Net family, but all of them have a flat bottom to support a fish evenly and avoid damage to fins or scales. There are four net models in the Conservation PLD family with a slide Handle.

All have a teardrop-shaped hoop and a handle that slides to 36 inches. Mesh ranges from ¾ to 1 inch, in four different hoop sizes. These are perfect for smaller boats and most normal fishing conditions.

When you need some extra reach, the telescopic models have net sizes that range from 17 X 19 inches to 23 X 26 inches. Five models to choose from means there is a size for every fishing situation.

The newly introduced Conservation PLD Ultralight Net has a sliding handle and sleek lightweight design. The landing hoop is fitted with tangle-free Micro-mesh netting to treat your precious catch with care. It’s portable, lightweight and makes netting a fish by yourself fast and effective. The specialized hoop shape allows it to easily store inside the rod locker on most boats.

The Frabill Conservation Net family offers two mesh types, including tangle-free micromesh (TFMM), and clear rubber (CLR). The family uses flat bottom nets to better protect the fish. Rubber grips are strategically placed on the handles for strong, sure holds.
